This is an interesting 'Katrina' documentary because it wasn't supposed to BE one. When it began filming, it was an Environmental flick for Young Adults about the vanishing Wetlands of the Mississippi Delta, complete with stock adorable girl, Black Grandpa and Handsome father-mentor figures right out of central casting. Then 'Katrina' happened....
While still oriented toward Young Adults, in some ways both it's clear way of speaking about the problem(pre and post 'K') as well as the tone of the filming pre and post make it worth putting on while you multitask. Music's quite good;>
Cheers,
Pat
