You know, I could reeeaaalllyy Hate my family.I'm up at 0500 working on our yet again broken down lawn mower. I'm doing all in my ability suggested by a number of DYI sites for the usual problem with the cheapo Craftsman 5.50. I decide to take a break and do my AM walk. When I come back I find things scattered around and Chuck shaking because Dad's been screaming at him about me "breaking" the mower". One of the reasons Chuck's scared of my Dad is that he's taken a swing at him before and he comes from an Abusive Family. That Dad has Alzheimers may help the Mind but the Heart remembers another father.
Well, I drop Chuck off at work( my family manipulated him into going back to a hostile working environment by playing off his guilt at me having to do all the supporting for the next 3 months until he gets his SSI), go grocery shopping and drop the old mower at my folks(my ORDERS). Well, Mom's venting about Dad, so I mention this AM's "adventure". She goes BALLISTIC about my "attitude toward your father". Uh? What i said about his usual Hissy was NOTHING compared to her litany of things he'd done to her in the 3 days since I'd last been over(he's never hit her, though he has smashed things). I say fine, then leave. I haven't even unloaded the grocery and my Dad plows into the driveway screaming at me for upsetting my Mom and that Chuck needs to "grow a pair"....
Oh, and my SIL, who sat with the main bully at Cuck's work and told her that "people like Chuck may misinterpret what you say" is coming over to "supervise" the insulation man doing the attic.
Lovely.
Truth,
