Health-wise, things have been at baseline for a couple of weeks. FINALLY! Broke the 250# barrier at 245. Took 6 months to lose the 1st 50# and 4 to lose another 5. Been Walking every day and Chris gave me a treadmill for an early Yule present. On cold days I just use the treadmill, the rest of the time just outdoors though today I tried doing both. Could only handle 4 min at the lowest setting but every bit helps. Besides, I don't see the back surgeon until February...
The tx they gave Chuck for COVID and the following pneumonia has really helped. He walked for the 1st time in almost a year!
Other than that I'm reading Jackson Crawford's Havamal translation and enjoying it and, of course mult sci-fi/fantasy books. The garden is almost rolled up for Winter. I see our Heron every morning when I walk down to the dock and street-side almost always our local herd of Whitetail Deer. Last week they joined up with another herd but so far this week we're back to the core 5. Maury(my SIL named hime), our yard groundhog has figured out both when my brother feeds he birds every day AND that a couple days after he mows is when the grass is the sweetest. He's not going to have ANY problem fat-wise this Winter. He's as big and round as half-buried Propane tank;>!
Cheers,
Pat
