Perspectives....
Apr. 15th, 2011 07:27 am...change. I've been watching the Docu-Drama 'The Pacific' off-n-on the last couple of weeks. I'd just finished one in which one of the main characters was involved in what was considered a "minor" Pacific Theatre battleground and the newsdweeb came on reporting about Pak-ganistan(I consider both the same war) about "the worst casualties so far" of 6 that day. What a few decades makes.
It's like my Japanese friend points out. It's not just the West that Japan's WWII population looks down on. They rebuilt 2 cities, planted crops and raised children, garnchildren and even great-graqndbabies on the spots. Watching "effete" Tokyo trendoids freaking out disgusts them.
Time....Marches On!
Cheers,
Pat
